You should know what a job pays before you take it.
Most delivery work does not tell you that. Ours does. Here is how the work reaches you, what you are paid, and what you owe. All of it, before you apply.
You can do one, or both.
Network jobs are not offered while you are on shift.
You will be offered jobs across the zone. Accept or decline each one.

Attached to a restaurant
You work shifts for one restaurant. Their deliveries come to you automatically while you are on shift. They pay you, on their own terms.
- Regular shifts, one place of work
- Deliveries assigned to you, not competed for
- No commission on this work
Freelance on the network
You take jobs offered across your zone. You see what each one pays before you accept it. You can decline any of them.
- Pay shown before you accept
- Accept or decline, every time
- Commission per delivery, shown on each job
Both
Most couriers do. You take your restaurant's shifts, and between shifts the network is open to you. Your shift always comes first. While you are on it, the network does not offer you anything.
- One app for both
- Shift work always takes precedence
- Extra earnings in the hours you were idle anyway
Jobs are offered, not dumped on you
A job reaches you with the pickup, the drop-off, the distance, what it pays, and whether it is prepaid or cash. You decide. Nothing is assigned to a freelance courier without them accepting it first.
- You see the pay before you commit
- Declining a job costs you nothing
- Accepting releases the customer's details for that delivery only
- You can hold several orders from the same restaurant at once

Two modes, two ways the money arrives.
By your restaurant, on their terms
The restaurant that you are attached to pays you for the work you do on shift. Scorto takes no commission on it.
Weekly, through Stripe
Each delivery shows its pay and its commission before you accept. Deductions are itemised per delivery, never rolled into one figure. Payout lands weekly.

What you need.
- Proof that you are allowed to work in your territory
- A government-issued identity document
- Your vehicle's registration and insurance, if you use one
- A one-time sign-up fee, if you want network jobs, it covers verification
What you owe.
- Once you accept a delivery, you collect it, carry it with care, and deliver it to the address given.
- Confirm pickup in the app. Photograph the order at the customer's door. That photograph is what any dispute is decided on.
- Follow the route unless there is a good reason not to. Large deviations raise an alert, and an alert is not a finding of fault. You get to explain.
- Customer details are yours for that delivery and no longer. Do not keep them, share them, or contact the customer afterwards.
- Do not pass a delivery to someone else, and do not hold more than one courier account.
- On a cash order you settle with the restaurant before you collect, then take the cash at the door.
- If you cancel after collecting, you are responsible for the order's value. It comes out of your balance and you cannot take new work until it is cleared.
These are the terms as they stand today. The last one is under review with our solicitors, and we will tell you before anything changes.
Photograph the order at the door
- The order itself in frame
- The door or entrance visible
- Taken at the delivery address
The photograph is what a dispute is decided on. It protects you as much as the retailer.
